Cyclists in epic ride for charity

CYCLISTS have raised more than £3,000 for charity in a sponsored bike ride to Paris.

Jonathan Faint, 26, and Warwick Stockdale, 24, both from West Wickham, completed their challenging journey within four days last month.

The members of St John's Church, in Coney Hall, set off from Croydon and averaged about 80 miles a day.

Their efforts raised more than £3,000 for charity Christians Against Poverty.
