The Crystal Palace Overground Festival is recruiting volunteers for its seventh successive event in June.

Roles include stewarding the main outdoor stage, supervising the kids’ zone and meeting visitors.

Kicking off with a wide range of fringe events at venues around Crystal Palace on June 27, the main festival takes place at Westow Park on Saturday, June 29 and in the Upper Norwood Triangle the following day.

All volunteers will receive full training, and a certificate of participation will be awarded at the end.

Noreen Meehan, festival director, said: “Volunteering at the festival is a wonderful way for the whole community to come together, it offers an engaging and fun way to give something back to the community.

“Just four hours of your time will help ensure that this year’s event is the best one yet.”

Those looking to lend a hand should visit, and complete the online form.
