A SHOPPING mall that has had an image makeover has been unveiled.

Bromley Mayor Denise Reddin cut the ribbon at the Walnuts Shopping Centre in Orpington town centre which now boasts a new car park, signage and shops.

A spokesperson for the Walnuts said she hoped it would help rid the Walnuts of its outdated image.

She said: "The revamp make it a much more pleasant experience for everybody by making it more modern. The Walnuts has improved dramatically over the last 12 months."

Centre manager, Martin Price, said: "Our improved facilities will make the people of Orpington proud of their town.
