Controversial comedian Frankie Boyle has revealed he previously lived in Bromley, using Twitter to compare his former home to “a lobotomy made out of bricks”.

The stand-up made the quip as BBC Three aired an episode of Snog Marry Avoid? based in the town centre, which the show described as a “mini Essex”.

Presenter Ellie Taylor gets dolled up, literally, and takes to the streets of Bromley dressed as a giant Barbie.

The episode features Bromley women who claim the plastic doll ‘look’ is popular in the area with girls seeking attention.
