PANTOMIME became farcical reality when Cinderella really didn't have anything to wear to the ball.

The drama unfolded at a photo shoot at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley, where stars were promoting their forthcoming production.

Poor Cinders, played by Laura Hamilton, would have been left wearing rags when a costume supervisor forgot her ball gown but luckily, charitable wedding shop Bride and Groom, in Bromley High Street, saved the day by lending her one of their dresses.

Cinderella, starring Police Academy star Steve Guttenburg and comedienne Helen Lederer, opens at the Churchill on December 5 and runs until January 18.
