Champagne and cupcakes on offer at Bromley’s Churchill Theatre helped raise £2,000 for a voluntary breast cancer fundraising group.

The Breast of Bromley worked with the theatre during Breast Cancer Awareness month collecting donations after shows and selling branded merchandise.

Producers of The Vagina Monologues and Colin Fry agreed to donate a proportion of ticket sales to the charity group, resulting in around £400 towards the overall total.

Debbie Lock, vice-chairman of the group, said: “We are so very grateful to Churchill Theatre Bromley for allowing us to turn their foyer pink for the month of October.

“We amassed a staggering £2000 for the charity which is absolutely amazing so a massive thank you to Churchill Theatre Bromley for your support.”
