A CHARITY helping children that live below the poverty line is holding its annual service and lunch next Tuesday. Bromley Welcare, a partnership between the local authority and Anglican churches, is holding the service at Bromley Parish Church in Church Road to celebrate its links to the community through its volunteers and supporters.

The Archdeacon of Bromley and Bexley, the Venerable Paul Wright, will preach and members of Bromley council and schools will attend.

Last year, staff helped more than 500 children working with families in hardship, isolation or in difficult relationships.

For more information call Lindsay Knight, at Bromley Welcare on 020 8466 0399, or you can email: office@bromleywelcare.org.uk or go to www.bromleywelcare.org.uk
