Chislehurst set for new pharmacy after NHS appeal

A new pharmacy is set to open near Chislehurst station after appeals were made to the NHS.

Owner Sandeep Patel teamed up with other local residents, including pharmacist Kit Tse, to fight a rejected proposal for the pharmacy in Chislehurst Road.

Joined by local businesses and The Chislehurst Society, Sandeep argued that his business would offer better health care for locals and raise the area’s poor rank in the table of Bromley’s pharmacy services.

He said: “Our survey showed discontent with the high street and for many people travelling there is difficult. I am delighted to say our arguments won the day.

“We would like to thank all those supporters who demonstrated that a strong local voice can improve facilities for residents.”
