The charity walk will take place this weekend
Former EastEnders actor Craig Fairbrass will signal the start of a 33-mile charity walk this weekend.
Walkers will take on the challenge to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society this Saturday.
Mr Fairbrass, who played Dan Sullivan in the soap opera, lives in Chislehurst and will be at London Victoria to start the walk, which ends at Dartford train station.
The 52-year-old said: “I’m walking to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society after watching my own mum be ravaged by this horrible disease.
“I will never forget the toll it took on her day by day - to the heart breaking end.”
He will kick off the walk at 7.30am and join those taking part for the London leg from London Victoria to London bridge.
