Young maestros competed for a host of prizes at the annual Bromley Fesitval of Music and Speech last week.

Pupils at Babington House School, in Grange Drive, Chislehurst scooped a staggering 30 medals in categories such as singing, choirs and strings.

A prize winners’ concert will now take place at Bromley Youth Music Centre, featuring two Babington House pupils selected to take part.

Jonathan Anderson, in Year 2, and Anna Toogood, in Year 10, will both represent the school at the musical evening on May 18 in Southborough Lane, Bromley.
