TWO unemployed men are due to appear in court next Tuesday on money laundering and theft charges after they were arrested following a high-speed police chase.
Shahab Sheikh, 19, of Mayfield Road, Dagenham and Aziz Naeem, 29, of Howards Road, Newham were caught with suspected laundered money after failing to stop for police in South Norwood. Cops followed their silver Vauxhall Astra through Crystal Palace Parade into Church Road on Saturday, February 7 at approximately 4.15pm after the pair drove through red lights.
Naeem was charged with two counts of money laundering and one count of theft while Sheikh was charged with money laundering, theft and failing to stop for police.
They were bailed to return to Bromley Magistrates Court next Tuesday. Contact Bromley Police on 020 8284 8859 with information.
