Nearly two months on from a fire which devastated at an Orpington school, celebrities from the world of soaps, music and reality TV are taking to the field for a fundraising football match.

The blaze at Midfield School in July totally destroyed a school hut, which had been used as a central feature of outdoor learning for primary school students.

Such was the shock at the hut’s destruction, that pupils even took their hard-earned pocket money to school to help restore the Celtic hut.

Around £1,000 has been raised by parents, students and teachers to return the hut to its former glory.
