A 55-year-old man has died in hospital from head injuries he suffered in a car crash in May.

Monday.

At 11.35am on May 31 this year, he was crossing Juglans Road, at the junction with Homefield Rise in Orpington town centre, when he was hit by a blue Vauxhall

Zafira.

The woman driver stopped at the scene and there have been no arrests. A 14-year-old boy who was in the car suffered a minor leg injury but was not taken to hospital.

Police are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

Police Sergeant David Berry said: "It was a Saturday morning in a busy shopping area.

"I am appealing for anyone who may have been travelling in a bus or car, or walking in the area and saw anything of the collision."
