Almost three quarters of a ton of cannabis found in garage in Glenview Road

Almost three quarters of a ton of cannabis - worth around £2 million - has been seized from a Bromley address by detectives.

Officers from the Organised Crime Partnership with a search warrant visited the address in Glenview Road, Bromley, early on Wednesday (September 9).

The cannabis was found stacked up against an internal wall in a garage.

A man in his 50s was arrested at the address on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and remains in custody at a south London police station.

Detective Inspector Steven Miles, from the Organised Crime Partnership, said: “The raid was a response to tackle the blight of drug dealing on the streets of south London. It sends out a strong signal to those involved that we will not tolerate their activities.”
