This week our Help A Pet appeal is looking for homes for a cat and a couple of rats recently rescued by Anim-Mates.

Alf is a tabby and white cat about two-years-old.

His fosterer Teresa Bloomfield said: "Alf had been cared for as a stray by a woman. She originally tried to find his owner but had no luck. Sadly, the woman found that after a year she could no longer care for Alf so he came into Anim-Mates."

He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

If you can give a home to Alf, please call Teresa on 020 8355 6888 or 07743 331397.

Milly and Molly are two female rats who are about 10-months-old. Fosterer Lauren Smith said: "Black and white in colour, these girls are friendly and inquisitive, but need someone with the time and patience to handle them." They need to go to a home with previous experience of rodents.

* If you can help please call Lauren on 07983 708497.
