THE Royal British Legion will be holding its Remembrance Day Parade next Sunday.

It will start with Parade and Service of Remembrance at The War Memorial, in Spur Road, Orpington, at 9.45am.

It will be led by the army cadet unit, 103 (Orpington) Platoon, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Band (by kind permission of Captain N. Warren) which took part in The Ceremony of The Dues at the Tower of London, as reported in the Times.

Their Buglers will play The Last Post and Reveille at several locations. The Poppy appeal has also been launched with the Afghanistan Generation Focus to the fore this year.

Anyone wishing to support the Poppy Appeal as a collector, should call 01689 820 162.
