A BUNGLING teenage drug courier who was caught after being stopped by bus ticket inspectors was jailed for three years last Friday.

Guy Ouraga, 19, of Corona Road, Grove Park, dropped his bag of heroin and cocaine worth £4,000 while being asked for his details.

He grabbed the package and made an escape bid only to be cornered by police in the nearby stairwell of a block of flats in Lewisham.

He had hundreds of wraps of the class A drugs, tightly bound in a plastic grocery bag.

Ouraga told officers he suspected he was carrying class A drugs but was only delivering it for a friend.

Passing sentence at Woolwich Crown Court, Judge Charles Byers said: "It is plain to see that when you were trusted to help out this friend, you did so knowing that what you were doing was helping him out with some drugs."

Ouraga admitted two counts of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.
