Bromley woman left with cuts to the face after alleged assault

A woman is recovering after an alleged attack which left her bloodied and bruised.

Christine Mitchell, 34, was reportedly walking on Croydon Road when the incident involving two other women took place.

The mother of three was left with injuries including cuts to the face and knee.

Christine’s husband Christian said: “She will now not go out unless I am with her.

“We are decent, help anyone type of people.”

A Police spokesman said: “Police are investigating an allegation of assault in Croydon Road, Elmers End at around 6.45pm on April 30. A 34-year-old woman received treatment for minor injuries at a South London hospital.

“Two women, aged 27 and 28, were arrested in connection with the incident and have been bailed until a date in mid-May.”
