Bromley triumph over Boreham Wood in FA Trophy replay

PUBLISHED: 12:25 27 November 2012

Bromley moved a step closer to Wembley Stadium on Monday night with a 2-0 FA Trophy replay win at Boreham Wood.

The goals came from 18-year-old loan signing from Charlton Athletic, Joe Pigott, and Danny Waldren.

On Saturday the Ravens had needed a late equaliser from top scorer Pierre Joseph-Dubois to prevent an exit from the competition.

Boreham Wood had gone ahead from the penalty spot in the first half.

The home side gave a better performance in the second period with Callum Reynolds and Ben Nunn testing Boreham Wood goalkeeper James Russell.

Bromley are now at home to Blue Square Bet Premier outfit Kidderminster Harriers in the next round on Saturday, December 15.

The Ravens return to league action in Hampshire on Saturday against fellow strugglers Havant and Waterlooville.
