Musical star Bonnie Langford has received a unique Bromley honour that even likes of Meryl Streep and Helen Mirren could only dream of.

After 125 performances in the borough, the much loved veteran of The Churchill Theatre stage has had a dressing room re-named in her honour.

Currently starring in Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 The Musical, Langford unveiled the newly named room backstage at the theatre during rehearsals on Monday afternoon.

A Churchill Theatre spokesman said: “We are thrilled to be celebrating Bonnie Langford’s 125th performance at Churchill Theatre Bromley by naming one of our dressing rooms ‘Langford’.

“It is a fantastic achievement and we hope to welcome Bonnie back for many more productions.”

In recent years Bonnie has appeared on the Bromley stage in Monty Python’s Spamalot and in the theatre’s Christmas panto, Cinderella.
