Tennis fans in Bromley will be given the opportunity to get active next week, as Bromley Tennis Centre hosts its first Community Tennis Festival.

On November 8, the centre, based in Orpington, has invited members of the public to take to its courts.

The event will run from 12pm and will be offering training for people of all ages in five different groups.

Following the training, the centre’s new airdome will be opened by the president of the Lawn Tennis Association, Cathie Sabin.

Visitors will also be able to watch tennis players of all ages take part in a competition.

The new airdome means that the centre’s four outdoor courts can now be used all year round.
