Eighty-one per cent of the students achieved five A* to C grades, with 65pc achieving five A* to C including English and mathematics.

Rangana Kumarasena achieved 11 A*s and one A and John Adam achieved eight A*s and four A grades.

Headteacher Kathy Griffiths said: “We are proud of each and every one of our students’ achievements since this represents hard work and commitment and now enables students to move to the next stage of their educational careers. We are thankful to staff and parents who have continuously supported them on their journey to these highly successful outcomes.”
