The Silver Diamond Ball had 800 guests
STUDENTS from Bromley Career College helped to cater for an event at Wembley Stadium last week with more than 800 guests.
Ten students helped out at the Silver Diamond Ball, held to celebrate the anniversaries of two hospitality companies, last Thursday. The college was the only one whose students were asked to take part.
The students – who are aged between 16 and 18 – helped to lay tables, polish glasses and cutlery, prepare drinks and serve drinks and food.
College head Scott Freeman said: “Our students have worked so hard and performed brilliantly.
“It was a tough and very tiring day but every student behaved professionally and is a real credit to the college.
“I’d like to offer my thanks to the two companies, Springboard and Delaware North, for inviting our students to be part of the event.”
