Average deposit in Bromley is £1,381.27

BROMLEY is the sixth most expensive area for tenancy deposits in the country.

Figures from the Deposit Protection Service show that deposits in Bromley over the last year were 69 per cent more expensive than the average for England and Wales.

The average deposit for properties with Bromley postcodes between March last year and February this year was £1,381.27, compared with the national average of £819.35.

Overall, London was unsurprisingly the most expensive area in the country, with an average deposit of £1,721.96.

The Deposit Protection Scheme exists to ensure landlords return tenants’ deposits promptly at the end of the tenancy if they have left the property in good condition.
