The Glades Shopping Centre in Bromley has rocketed to success with last summer’s space adventure, Kids on the Moon, scooping a top industry accolade at the Revo Purple Apple Marketing Awards.
Recognising and rewarding the very best in town and shopping centre marketing within the UK retail property sector, the awards ceremony was held last week in central London.
Kids on the Moon - a UK exclusive – was a free, interactive activity where more than 5,000 children from across Bromley and beyond booked a place for a mission to the moon.

The European Space Agency partnered with the event and hosted a special Q&A session for more than 200 local children.
Kate Miller, general manager of The Glades, said: “We wanted to wow Bromley with an event that children and their families would talk about for years to come and we certainly achieved this.”
