Bromley set for parking changes as new cinema development gets underway

PUBLISHED: 17:21 27 September 2012

Parking facilities in Bromley are set for change ahead of the development of Bromley South Central that will include a cinema, hotel and restaurants.

Westmoreland Road car park will be closed during autumn to make way for the work which sees the construction of a 400-space car park.

The Hill car park will be increased by 120 spaces over coming weeks to ensure parking is not an issue during the Christmas shopping period.

Pay and display bays will also be installed around Elmfield Road and Walters Yard in order to provide a further 100 spaces for motorists.
