The singer has made it through to next week’s ‘movie night’

The latest season of X Factor rumbled on at the weekend, with Bromley boy Matt Terry continuing to impress viewers and judges alike.

Mentored by Nicole Scherzinger, the 22-year-old remains a favourite to win this year’s competition, and stunned crowds at the weekend by singing The Emotions’ Best Of My Love which was also a hit with the judges.

As Matt eased through to next week’s ‘movies’ themed night, 17-year-old Sam Lavery was booted from the competition.
