Pupils from a Bromley school are setting a trend by wearing high visibility armbands and vests as part of Walk to School Month.

Raglan Primary in Ragland Road has teamed up with builders Ward Homes to promote walking in October.

School co-ordinator Bruce Robertson said: “Our Year 6 pupils have been walking on Wednesdays for the past six years.

“By increasing physical activity every day, not only is it benefiting the pupils’ health, we can also reduce congestion outside the school gates.”
