Bromley Police arrested 32 people in yesterday’s borough-wide operation to fight crime.

Drugs, stolen goods and cash were also recovered in the raids, intended to disrupt criminal activity.

Arrests were made for a number of different crimes including theft, sexual offences, drug offences, fraud, assault and hate crime.

Ch Insp Darren Murphy, from Bromley Police, said: “These large and highly visible operations play a major part in the fight against crime and this demonstrates there is no hiding place for criminals.

“Many of these offenders have been arrested as a result of intelligence and information provided by members of the public, acting as our ‘eyes and ears’.”

“If you know something please don’t hesitate. Tell us, we will listen and we will take action.”
