Police have made 11 arrests this morning in a series of dawn raids across Bromley.

The arrests made have been for crimes including burglary, assault, fraud and domestic violence.

The raids are part of a “major day of action” by Bromley Police.

Insp Darren Murphy from Bromley Police, said: “We will be using a huge range of tactics throughout the day targeting criminals and showing residents that their local police have listened to their concerns and are committed to taking robust preventative and disruptive action to make our communities safer.”

Raids will happen across the borough all day, according to a Bromley Police spokesman.

He said the “days of action... reinforce what we do on a daily basis in targeting criminals head on and provide further public reassurance to residents across the borough through visible, high impact policing”.

Insp Murphy added: “Those breaking the law and engaging in criminal activity should understand that we will be doing everything we can to stop them and put them before the courts.”
