Bromley Police contact points open to improve public face-to-face time

PUBLISHED: 10:55 19 September 2013 | UPDATED: 10:55 19 September 2013

New contact points enabling the public to discuss policing issues in Bromley were opened yesterday.

Managed by the local Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT), the points are open for a minimum of three hours each week, on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8pm, and Saturday afternoons from 2pm to 3pm.

These face-to-face time slots are for local people to address non-urgent police matters, such as general crime concerns or advice on crime prevention.

You can also make a complaint, book an appointment to speak with a local officer and make a witness statement.

Ch Insp Carron Schusler said: “Contact points provide a convenient opportunity for communities to speak to their local police face to face. They are an alternative to visiting a police station front counter for non urgent issues.”

The contact points in Bromley can be found at 43-45 High Street, St Mary Cray, 49 High Street, Green St Green, and 192-194 Main Road, Biggin Hill.
