The Darwin ward police team have renewed the sponsorship of their car for another year.

A VW Polo, donated by Allan White Motors Ltd, and sponsored by Kelsey Publishing, along with Gill and Bill Wade, of Bottom Barn Farm, will be used for the forthcoming year.

The car keys were handed over to Sgt Coleman Sullivan, head of the Darwin safter neighbourhood team, on Friday.

He said: “Darwin is a very unique ward, three times the size of some boroughs, and without local support like this providing this vehicle, the visibility of the team would be limited across such a vast area.”
