A 15-year-old schoolgirl has been given the thumbs up to go through to regional finals of a teen talent competition.
Abi Hudson, a Bromley High School pupil, is yet to decide what she will sing in the finals in April.
However, she is currently working on a cover version of Kate Bush’s This Woman’s Work away from the competition.
Mother Kate Hudson, of Shortlands Road, Bromley, said: “I am absolutely delighted she has got through.
“She has worked very hard with her music - she plays and sings for a couple of hours everyday. She is very conscientious.”
Incredibly, Mrs Hudson revealed her daughter only started learning the guitar a year ago.
Chris Grayston, of TeenStar, said judges are looking for an act with “something unique to offer”.
Last year’s TeenStar winner was X Factor finalist Luke Friend.
