From James Bond’s passenger ejecting Aston Martin to a simple game of Monopoly, Bromley Museum is looking for your classic toys for an exhibition this summer.

Around the World in 80 Toys will showcase toys, games and fond memories of childhood when it opens next month.

To supplement its existing collection, and bring a personalised touch to the exhibit, the museum is asking residents to loan their favourite childhood toys.

Marie Louise Kerr, museum curator, said: “WE are looking for something a bit different and meaningful to local people for our exhibition this year.

“Enchant us and our visitors with the stories of your favourite toys and games. Let us know about your most cuddly teddy bear, show us photos of your daring playground antics, how you restyled your Barbie’s hair and all the little cars you collected.”

The closing date for entries is Friday, June 28. All objects lent to the museum will be returned in October.

If you are able to lend any objects, contact the musuem team on 01689 873826 or email
