Bromley man jailed for £1.8m benefit fraud

The former owner of Mottingham Motorcycles shop was jailed for eight years after claiming £1.8 million in fraudulent disability benefits.

Barry Brooks, 49, of Bromley, set up a sham business claiming to help disabled people find work. He was sentenced on August 30 at Southwark Crown Court
