Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills turned on the lights

Bromley Town Centre was be transformed into a winter wonderland, alongside lots of entertainment on last Sunday (November 20).

Hundreds of Santa’s raced against the clock in the Santa Dash that set out from Queensmead Recreation Ground at 2pm, with the Elf and Fitness fanatics running games and giving commentary throughout.

Throughout the day there was a range of dance, theatre and music acts on the main stage on Market Square, with live performances from the cast members of Peter Pan, Cirque Beserk and Babe the Sheep Pig .

At 4.15pm, a light parade made its way along the high street. A troupe of musicians, hula dancers, jugglers, night sky walkers and ethereal glittering characters passed the Christmas light along the high street to the main stage, Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills and friends took to the stage to turn on the town centre and intu lights, lighting up Bromley and opening the town for the festive season.
