It’s official! Bromley is the best place to live in London if you have young children, scoring highly for the quality of its shops, schools and health facilities.

The results of the new study by Experian also place Bromley second out of the top 10 London boroughs as a place to live for those whose offspring have flown the nest and fourth for families with older children.

The findings were generated from more than 40 sets of data, ranging from how well youngsters do at local schools, crime rates, air quality, career opportunities as well as shops and nightlife.

Council leader Stephen Carr, Leader of Bromley Council said: “I am delighted to hear that Bromley has been judged among the top 10 best London boroughs to live.

“This is very good news and confirms what we have long thought to be true – that our borough is a fantastic place to live and work.”
