A dramatic 90th minute winner saw 10-man Bromley into the first round of the FA Cup with a narrow 1-0 victory over Worcester City on Saturday.
Former QPR striker Richard Pacquette slid home the late goal from an Ali Fuseini cross to send the crowd into raptures at Hayes Lane.
The Lilywhites controlled large portions of the game and it looked as though they might live to regret snatching at numerous chances when Moses Swaibu saw his second yellow turn to red.
But the home side kicked on and with bodies crumbling all over the pitch, their perseverance was rewarded as they progressed into the next round draw.
They will now travel to Fleetwood Town on Saturday, November 3 who sit two tiers above Bromley in League 2.
After the weekend’s excitement, Mark Goldberg’s focus must turn swiftly back to the league where his side sit in 16th position.
They host table topping Salisbury City on Saturday, hoping their FA Cup momentum may see them topple the side who have lost just twice this season.
