Archant

A podcast for diehard fans has been launched by Bromley FC, featuring interviews with players and inside access to the club.

Presented by fans David Cooke and Matt Hall, the fortnightly download is now in its second week - covering topics from Bromley Ladies to reviews of recent first team ties and emails from fans.

Now available on iTunes, the podcast was the brainchild of David - who previously presented a successful motorsport podcast.

His co-host, Matt, says The Ravens “didn’t need any convincing” about the idea, with staff a regular feature on the show.

He said: “David missed doing his podcast and one day suggested we do one for Bromley. Gradually, the idea became more and more realistic.

“We’re soon hoping to interview our captain and defensive rock, Rob Swaine, and we’ve already had commercial director, Barry Wicks, on the show.

“We do have inside access to the club, which is a great way of helping supporters understand the day-to-day goings on at the club.”

The podcast, though relatively new, has already had listeners from across the globe in Australia and New Zealand.
