Bromley father daughter duo will cycle 100 miles for charity

A father daughter duo are gearing up to cycle 100 miles for a charity close to their hearts.
Diane Lightfoot and her father Jeff will be taking part in the RideLondon event on August 10.
Diane, 41, is the director of fundraising and communications for national disability charity United Response, which supports people with physical disabiltiies, learning disabilities and mental health needs.
She said: “Having worked for United Response for 10 years, I have seen first-hand how money raised has such a positive impact on the lives of people we support with learning disabilities and mental health needs.”
Diane’s father Jeff used to regularly cycle every day and he has been persauded to join in with the fundraiser too.
She explained: “I think he figured if he was going to help with my training, he might as well get in on the action!”
