A pop-up gallery celebrating life in Bromley’s East Street sprung up on Friday (30) and Saturday (31) to celebrate the people who work there.

The photographs showed pictures of traders and shopkeepers.

Bromley Council and public events company Hunter-Gatherers organised the event to promote development of Bromley North Village.

Hunter-Gatherer spokeswoman Bryony Henderson said: “We were drawn to East Street for this project due to the diversity of businesses and people who work on the street.

“We visited the street throughout March and worked with photographer Jim Stephenson to produce portraits of people in their places of work which are displayed here.”
