Nine Bromley College students received first-class honours upon graduating from the biomedical science undergraduate degree programme last week.

The nine – Karl Baird, Samira Gharbieh, Siavash Beikoghli Kalkhoran, Sian Russell, Cheryl Griffiths, Connor Scott, Faye Brown, Jacqui Long and Susie Ruffles – participated in a ceremony held at Rochester Cathedral on July 26.

Student Cheryl Griffiths said: “I’m really proud to have done so well.”

The students were able to work towards their degrees first studying at the college and then completing their degrees at the University of Greenwich’s Medway Maritime campus.

College’s science curriculum manager, Sheila Lake, said: “We couldn’t be happier for these nine wonderful graduates. Their ambition and determination has paid off in a big way.”
