Bromley police cadets hand out advice in West Wickham.

Bromley’s young police cadets were out in force last weekend as they handed out advice on how to prevent burglaries and thefts in West Wickham.

A crime prevention stall was set up outside Sainsbury’s, in High Street, where the budding crimestoppers handed out leaflets and personal safety devices to passing people.

Sgt Coleman Sullivan, head of West Wickham safer neighbourhood team, said: “Hundreds of crime prevention leaflets, anti-burglary marking kits and personal safety devices were handed out and many residents praised the cadets for giving up their Saturday afternoon to do something positive for their community.”
