A 22-year-old man has received an 18 month suspended jail term for a Bromley burglary during the London riots.

Umut Nidai, of Bexleyheath, was found guilty at Inner London Crown Court after being linked to the crime at Richer Sounds, in East Street, through blood found at the scene.

Bromley borough commander, Steph Roberts, said: “Forensic and CCTV evidence is still proving invaluable as we continue to hunt down those people who brought violence and terror to our borough and bring them to justice”.
