A MOTORCYCLIST whose body was found lying in a field may have been there for hours, police have said.

Jonathan Allchin, 28, of Maple Road, Anerley, was killed some time between the evening of August 3 and the morning of August 4.

His green Suzuki motorbike was spotted lying in a filed in Great Saling, Essex, by a lorry driver.

It is believed Mr Allchin had been at a biker meeting when he crashed.

Police do not think any other vehicles were involved.
