Biggin Hill pilot dies as the oldest Battle of Britain survivor

The oldest surviving Battle of Britain pilot, who flew from Biggin Hill, died on Sunday aged 99 after suffering a stroke.
Flt Lt William Walker, of north London, fought over Kent and miraculously survived when his Spitfire was shot down in 1940.
