Biggin Hill Primary School paid tribute to its lollipop man with gifts including two hampers and a £100 voucher thanks to parents’ generosity.

Martin Harris received the presents after a parent suggested treating him for Christmas.

Mr Harris, who has also assisted with the school’s Frost Fair, was invited to a school assembly to receive his gifts, plus six bottles of wine.
