World War II veterans will be attending the commemorative event

World War II veterans are to attend a special event to mark Remembrance Day at a Biggin Hill Cafe.

The Spitfire, on Main Road, will welcome several veterans of the conflict to its event, which will also feature military vehicles and a pop up Second World War museum ,

There will be a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses and a poetry competition for youngsters, with proceeds going to the Poppy Appeal and the Biggin Hill Memorial Museum Trust.

The event will take place on November 6, from 10.30am to 2pm.
