A new managing director at Biggin Hill Airport has been appointed, following the retirement of Jenny Munro.

Will Curtis, previously the MD of Goldair between 1998 and 2007, will take over the role, following his most recent position as CEO of Swiss-owned company, Perfect Aviation.

After qualifying as a professional pilot in 1992, Will became a flying instructor in Suffolk - before going on to work on aerial mapping missions in Europe and the Mediterranean.

He said: “I am delighted by this opportunity to work together with the world class team at London’s Biggin Hill Airport in order to continue to encourage sustainable growth within the business aviation sector.

“I am confident that in the years to come, the airport will make an even greater contribution to the local economy and will provide increased employment prospects for local school and college leavers.”

Will lives in Biggin Hill, and he and his wife Siobhan are long-standing residents in the village.
