Firefighters cut the woman from her car


A house fire started earlier this morning, causing the roof to collapse.

The detached house in Hawthorne Road, Bickley, was set alight at around 1am this morning.

Bromley fire brigade was called to the scene and sent six fire engines and used an aerial ladder platform to try and save what remained of the building.

No one was in the house when the fire started and the cause of the fire is still unknown.
